6 Steps to Taking Full Advantage

OF THE USABLE SPACE IN YOUR HOME

Recently, I was staying in a hotel where the bathroom vanity had a pull out tray just below the countertop.

It was a brilliant innovation.  Perfect for my makeup.

Only about 4" deep and with side rails to keep things from being knocked out, this tray took up no room but made my ability to get ready in a strange location a joy.

It was both a space and TIME saver.

I am always on the lookout for ways to expand both space and time for myself and my clients.

Would you like to know how I do it?

It took hitting an emotional wall to see it as an actual process.

I am a firm believer that obstacles are opportunities for creativity and expansion.  It is a lot easier to see those opportunities from the outside looking in; not when you are in the midst of it yourself.  Frustration and anxiety are great blinders.

In this episode, I walk you through the 6 steps that you can use to take full advantage of the space that you already have.

Because we are raised in an environment that constantly bombards us with the messages that we need MORE; something outside of us--something we are currently missing--will solve our problem.

Or our problem is USWe are not enough.
We believe that we need:
  • more money
  • more space
  • more time
  • more freedom to implement our own ideas and not be restricted by someone else's.

This are all the things we tell ourselves.  But over and over I have found that we each have within us more than we realize when we just reframe our internal beliefs.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN...

  • how to see your space more objectively
  • how to invite in the creativity that you think you don't have
  • why it's important for everyone's ideas to come together
  • how to expand your space visually and emotionally

DESIGN A BEDROOM THAT IS AS UNIQUE AND AMAZING AS THE GIRL WHO LIVES THERE

  • Great design goes way beyond bedding and wall color.
  • It encapsulates the needs of the girl who dreams, sleeps, and grows there.
  • It supports her changing emotions and grows with her ever evoloving needs.
